Welsh Rugby’s Summer Camps are guaranteeing young fans the chance to watch the full 2017/18 Dragons squad in training, as part of the 2-day sessions which kick off in Caerphilly on Wednesday 16 August followed by sessions Cwmbran and Rodney Parade.
The camps, delivered by the WRU and Dragons community teams, launched at the start of the school holidays for 6-14 year-old boys and girls of all abilities to learn and improve their rugby in a fun and friendly environment.
After an action-packed schedule of age-appropriate skills and drills, all children booked onto the camps will get a chance to learn from their rugby heroes with a special behind-the-scenes trip to a Dragons training session.
Just before the Dragons left for their pre-season training camp in Montpellier, WRUTV caught up with the players looking forward to welcoming their biggest fans to training ahead of an exciting new season.
“Come to our summer camps and be part of the new generation Dragons,” said lock Rynard Landman.
The Dragons return to their region after matches with Montpellier and Northampton Saints this weekend. Book now for your kids to see their favourite players in action.
Spaces are still available for the summer camps via camps.wru.co.uk
