Title Hopes Take A Dive As Greens Edged Out

Having only narrowly defeated the hosts in the Cup and league earlier in the campaign Bryn travelled to Mid Wales well aware of the challenge that awaited them. Ultimately this was once again a contest that either side could have won but on this occasion fortune favoured the home side. Four penalties by Dafydd Jones secured a losing bonus point for the Greens but this latest reverse now gives Maesteg Celtic the upper hand in the race for the title and promotion. Bryn must now hope that Builth return the favour when they meet Celtic in a month’s time.
